The history of our domains

The Roc d’Enfer ski area is located in Haute-Savoie, between Thonon and Cluses, 6 km from Morzine.

Non-stop opening of the area and the introduction of numerous summer activities.

Artificial snow.

November 6, 2006

End of the management and creation of the SIVU of Roc d'Enfer.

April 24, 2006

Obtaining ISO 9001:2000 certification.

1988

Replacement of the 4-seat gondola lift with a new 6-seat lift.

1987

Creation of the "Roc d'Enfer" trail.

1983

Construction of the Lanchereau ski lift.

1980

Replacement of the 2-seat chairlift with the 4-seat gondola lift.

 

 

1979

Construction of the two fixed-grip 3-seat chairlifts, Chargeau and Graydon.

1976

Construction of the baby ski lift of Bray. Integration into the Portes du Soleil upon their creation.

1975

Construction of the Esserailloux ski lift and the baby ski lift of Terchette.

1973

Takeover of the resort by the municipality. Construction of the Têtes ski lift and the 2-seat chairlift of Grande Terche.

1969

Creation of the "La Grande Terche" resort with the installation of two ski lifts at "La Moussière d'en Haut."

Bellevaux / La chèvrerie

November 6, 2006

End of the municipal management, replaced by the SIVU of Roc d'Enfer.

1998

Beginning of the snow cannon network on the Châl slope.

1992

Installation of the first snow cannon.

 

1987

Commissioning of the Torchon chairlift and the Follys ski lift, marking the opening of the Roc d'Enfer connection. Dissolution of the SAEM and creation of the Chèvrerie ski lift management.

1986

Creation of the SAEM du Val D'Enfer (Mixed Economy Development Company) between the municipality of Bellevaux and numerous local small shareholders.

1981

Creation of two additional ski lifts: Ecole 2 and Les Etangs.

1971

Creation of a private ski lift company: La SATC (Tourist Development Company of La Chèvrerie). Commissioning of the Cabri and Ecole 1 ski lifts.
